APRIL 27: FLOWER POT PAINTING AT THE CIVIC CENTER–MORE INFORMATION HERE

Remember to call or come in to sign up for the flower pot painting event. We need to know how many people will be attending.

THE LIBRARY BOARD MEETS THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 4:00PM.

Books on request come in every Monday and Thursday afternoon between 1 and 3pm.

Welcome to Spring Painting Event

Join us at the Beulah Civic Center April 27th at 7:00 PM for flower pot painting!
The cost is $10.00/person ($5.00 if you bring your own pot) and $5.00 for kids 12 and under.
Call or come to the library to sign up.
All materials will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own!
Pot sizes are 8″, 6″, and 3″. You’re welcome to do more than one!
All ages are welcome (children MUST be accompanied/supervised by an adult).

April is National Poetry Month!

MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL POETRY CONTESTpoetry-month-1

April is National Poetry Month! To celebrate, Beulah Public Library is hosting a poetry contest for Middle School and High School. To enter, write a poem and submit it at Beulah Public Library. Be sure to include your name and phone number. Prizes will be awarded!

Rules:

  • Must be in Middle School or High School
  • One poem/person
  • Poems must be at least 3 lines long
  • Must be an original creation. Plagiarism will NOT be accepted
  • Poem submission will open April 1st and close April 20th
  • You may write or type your poem, but please write legibly! If we can’t read your poem, we can’t judge it.
  • Write your heart out! Poems do not have to rhyme, but ideas should flow together coherently.

E-mail your poems to beulahlibrary@gmail.com or bring them to the library in person.

There will be 6 prizes, 3 for Middle School and 3 for High School.
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
1st place: Fire Tablet
2nd Place: $20.00 Beulah Bucks
3rd Place: $10.00 Beulah Bucks

We now have forms 1040EZ, 1040, EIC (Earned Income Credit), and Schedule F (Profit or Loss From Farming). We have the instruction booklets for forms 1040EZ and 1040.

These forms and instructions are completely FREE to take and use. They will be available until April or until they run out. Don’t wait until the last minute to do your taxes! The earlier you get your form filled out, the faster you’ll get your return!
